There are literally thousands of WordPress themes available on the web, many of them free…and most of them just terrible. It’s generally much better to spend a few dollars on a well-coded and attractive premium theme.

Many premium WordPress themes can be purchased for $100 or less. I especially recommend the Elegant Themes Divi Template as it is well coded and updated regularly for security. If you are working with me to create your website you can save the $249 cost of this template as I hold a developer license which allows me to use it on unlimited websites. The Divi template has 140+ pre-designed layouts that can speed development significantly if you find one you like. These layouts can also be used as a starting point which we can work from to create your ideal website design.
